Who we are

Costello ("Costello", "we", "us") provides AI-powered automation tools and content services to small and medium businesses. Contact: owen@costellohq.com.

What data we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name, email, phone, business name — when you book a call, start a trial, or enquire through our website.
  • Usage analytics — anonymised page views, device type, referrer, and session duration, via privacy-respecting analytics.
  • Content metadata — if you use our content tools, the timestamps and processing results of the videos you submit. We do not store the video files longer than needed to produce your output.
  • Social platform data — when you authorise our application on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube, we receive only the scopes you explicitly grant during OAuth. We use this data solely to publish content you create and to respond to comments and messages on your behalf.

How we use it

  • To deliver the services you signed up for.
  • To publish, schedule, and respond to social content on your behalf.
  • To reply to enquiries you send us.
  • To improve our products based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Where it lives

Data is stored in Supabase (EU West region). Video processing runs on our own infrastructure and partner APIs (Submagic, OpenAI, Meta, Google, TikTok). Each partner applies its own security practices — links to their policies are available on request.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing owen@costellohq.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You can revoke our access to your social accounts at any time through the respective platform's security settings:

Cookies

We use cookies only for essential session state and anonymised analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged via email to active customers.
