How the affiliate programme works
The Costello affiliate programme pays you to recommend Costello. Share your unique link, and when a business signs up through it and starts paying, you earn 30% of what they pay — every month, for their first 12 months.
There's no cost to join, no cap on how many businesses you can refer, and you don't need to be a Costello customer yourself.

What you earn
Costello has three paid plans, so what you earn depends on which plan your referral chooses:

These figures are per referral, every month, for 12 months. Refer ten businesses on Growth and that's roughly £147 a month in recurring commission — about £1,760 over the year.
Commission is calculated on the amount your referral pays after the card-processing fee Stripe charges us (roughly 1.5–3%). So the exact figure is a little below a flat 30% of the sticker price. We always pay 30% of the money we actually keep — never less.

When someone clicks your link, signs up, and starts a paid plan, they're tied to you. You earn 30% of their payments.

The terms, in plain English
- 30% commission on every payment a referred business makes.
- For 12 months from their first payment. (If they pay annually, that single yearly payment counts as the full 12 months — you earn one commission covering the year.)
- Recurring — you're paid again every month they keep paying, not just once.
- Paid in GBP via Stripe. The programme currently supports referrals that pay in pounds.
- 30-day hold — each commission is held for 30 days (60 days for annual plans) before it can be paid out, so it can be reversed cleanly if the customer gets a refund.
- £50 minimum payout — we pay out once your cleared balance passes £50. Anything below that rolls over to the next month.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse commission. If a referred customer is refunded, the matching commission is cancelled (or deducted from your next payout if it was already paid).
- No self-referrals. Referring your own account, your own business, or your family doesn't earn commission and may get you removed from the programme. (See the FAQ for the detail.)
Who can join
Anyone. You don't need to be a Costello customer. The programme is a great fit for:
- Agencies and consultants who set up tools for small businesses, clinics, salons, or tradespeople.
- Web designers and developers who build sites and want to add a booking-ready AI receptionist.
- Creators, bloggers, and newsletter writers with a small-business audience.
- Existing Costello customers who want to recommend a product they already use.
