Channel cap explained
Each Costello plan includes a fixed number of channel slots. You can connect any combination of available channels up to your plan's limit.

Choosing which channels to use
On the Free plan, pick the single channel where most of your enquiries come from. For most medspas, that's Instagram. You can switch to a different channel at any time — swapping doesn't cost extra.
On the Growth plan, most clinics connect Instagram + Messenger (they share the same Facebook authorisation, so setup is fast). Web chat is a good addition if you get regular website enquiries.
What happens when you try to add more channels than your plan allows
If you already have your maximum channels connected and try to add another:
- Costello shows a "Channel limit reached" prompt.
- You're offered the option to upgrade your plan.
- If you don't upgrade, the new channel is not connected.
You're never automatically disconnected from existing channels because you tried to add a new one.
Swapping a channel
If you want to change which channel occupies a slot (for example, replace web chat with Messenger):
- Disconnect the current channel from Integrations.
- Connect the new channel.
The disconnection is immediate. The new connection takes effect once the authorisation flow is complete.
Upgrading to unlock more channels
Upgrade your plan → to increase your channel slots. Changes take effect immediately after payment.
